Maziya 1 - 0 Vyansa: Ammadey's goal seals the win

Ahmed Rasheed (Ammadey)’s late goal was enough to secure three points for Maziya in last night’s Dhiraagu Dhivehi League match. Although Vyansa also got chances to score goals, they fail to target the net. The first shot was taken by Ammadey inside the penalty area. His header was well saved by keeper Rameez. He got injured while saving the ball, but later joined the game after receiving first aid. Shiyadh got a golden chance in the 37th minute to take the lead. Niyaz made another error inside the penalty area and Hameesh got the ball. But his shot went wide off the goal. Ahmed Rasheed scored the goal in the 84th minute. His narrow angle shot hit the net. Four minutes later Hameesh got a golden chance to equalize. He delayed the shot while he was all alone inside the penalty area and Niyaz tackled and cleared the ball. After the match, Maziya’s coach Ismail Mahfooz (Imma) said that they wanted three points from the game and he was pleased that they achieved the target. “We wanted three points from the game and we are happy that we achieved the target. But this is the first match that we are playing in Ramazan and one of the few matches we played in night.
